Ontario Parks Library Day-Use Vehicle Permit Lending Program
Enjoy Ontario Parks!
We all know how much people love to visit Ontario Parks to spend time outdoors and stay healthy. Our library has partnered with Ontario Parks to provide Day-Use Vehicle Permits for loan! Enjoy the Ontario Parks by borrowing a pass from either library location--You can come by in person to the library, or you can place a hold from our catalogue. Obtaining a daily vehicle permit in advance allows visitors to plan ahead and guarantee their access.
In response to the increased demand and popularity of Ontario Parks, they have introduced a new service in 2021 to help visitors secure their day-use spot up to five days in advance of arrival in 17 provincial parks. They have built on the success of last year's offering and visitors will be able to reserve day use permits at an additional 16 provincial parks starting on May 16th 2022 for arrivals on May 20th . They will also be expanding the service to offer advance bus permits at select parks. For a full list of participating parks, please refer to the Appendix.

At all locations, advance daily vehicle permits will be available for full-day purchase. Parks marked with an asterisk (*) also offer hourly permits.
