The Municipality of Markstay-Warren is seeking a company to provide ongoing IT support and assistance with the maintenance and deployment of IT systems. The Municipality has gone through a recent upgrade of many of its systems and requires a provider who is familiar with the systems and is willing to liaise with staff and third party software to improve usability and reliability of our tools.

Q1. Is the Municipality open to a proponent bidding on a portion of the RFP OR is the Municipality open to using a subcontractor to supply a portion of the RFP.
A1. The Municipality is open to partial submissions or the use of a subcontractor to supply a portion of the services, however, it is the intent of the bid to have an integrated solution. The Municipality would prefer to deal with a single primary contractor for contractual obligations and have the proponent manage sub contracts and sub contractors.
Q2. How many workstations / Locations are involved?
A2. The Municipality operates out of a number of locations. The core group of devices is centered around 21 Main St. S. Markstay Ontario with a total of 20 Operating Devices and 5 Accessories. The Municipality runs 2 libraries with 1-2 staff computers and 3-5 public computers. The remainder of the locations are distributed around the municipality but run 1-2 devices per site.
