Markstay-Warren, ON – May 7, 2026
The Municipality of Markstay-Warren would like to inform residents that the Boil Water Advisory issued by Public Health Sudbury & Districts (PHSD) for New Sudbury, Sudbury, and Falconbridge does not affect Markstay residents.
The drinking water supply for Markstay is sourced from the Wahnapitae Water Treatment Plant, which is not impacted by the advisory currently in effect for other areas of the District.
Residents of Markstay may continue to use their tap water for all normal purposes, including drinking, cooking, and bathing, without the need to boil water.
For reference, the PHSD advisory applies only to the areas listed in their notice, which can be found here:
