Removal of Playground Equipment – Hagar & Warren<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Municipality of Markstay-Warren wishes to advise residents that the remaining playground equipment at the affected municipal playgrounds will be removed beginning Thursday , July 30, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following an independent playground safety inspection and after providing the appropriate notice period to the manufacturer, the Municipality is proceeding with the removal of the remaining equipment as a precautionary measure to help ensure public safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We recognize the importance of safe and accessible play spaces for our families and children. Council and staff are actively exploring options for replacement playground equipment and potential funding opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Residents are encouraged to monitor the Municipality\u2019s website and social media channels for updates regarding future playground replacement plans and project timelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Municipality appreciates the patience and understanding of residents as we work toward providing safe, high-quality recreational facilities for our community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Retrait des \u00e9quipements de terrain de jeu \u2013 Hagar et Warren<\/p>\n\n\n\n
La Municipalit\u00e9 de Markstay-Warren souhaite informer les r\u00e9sidents que les \u00e9quipements de jeu restants dans les terrains de jeux municipaux concern\u00e9s seront retir\u00e9s \u00e0 compter du jeudi 30 juillet 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u00c0 la suite d\u2019une inspection ind\u00e9pendante de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des terrains de jeux et apr\u00e8s avoir accord\u00e9 au fabricant le d\u00e9lai de pr\u00e9avis appropri\u00e9, la Municipalit\u00e9 proc\u00e9dera au retrait des \u00e9quipements restants par mesure de pr\u00e9caution afin de contribuer \u00e0 assurer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 du public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nous reconnaissons l\u2019importance d\u2019offrir \u00e0 nos familles et \u00e0 nos enfants des espaces de jeu s\u00fbrs et accessibles. Le Conseil municipal et le personnel explorent activement des options pour le remplacement des \u00e9quipements de jeu ainsi que des possibilit\u00e9s de financement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
